Blair Hanuschak and Ryan Seckinger promoted to key leadership positions in the firm’s Structures Group
WASHINGTON, D.C. — International engineering firm Walter P Moore announces two key promotions within the firm’s Structures Group, which encompasses the design of new structures and retrofits, building enclosures/façades, parking structures, secure facilities, specialty structures (such as moveable roofs and art installations), construction engineering, and seismic design and retrofit. The new roles took effect on June 4, 2018.
Blair Hanuschak, P.E. is named Regional Director of Walter P Moore in the Northeast, leading structural engineering operations and client development in the company’s service region that includes Washington, D.C., New York City, and Toronto. A 26-year veteran of the firm and founder of their Washington, D.C. office in 2008, Blair brings broad industry experience and commitment to client service. A Senior Principal of the firm, he is a globally recognized expert in aviation structures and has led the firm’s dynamic aviation practice for two decades.
Ryan Seckinger, P.E., LEED AP assumes the role of Managing Director of Walter P Moore’s Washington, D.C. structural operations, with responsibility for all activities throughout the mid-Atlantic region. A Principal of the firm, Ryan is a 14-year Walter P Moore veteran with specialized expertise in emerging technologies and innovative project delivery systems. The recipient of Walter P Moore’s distinguished Javier F. Horvilleur Outstanding Young Engineer Award in 2005, Ryan has built a strong client following as a resourceful, hands-on project steward.
