Thusitha Silva

Thusitha has more than 26 years of transportation engineering experience that includes the design of roadways, highways, and bridges. With his expert knowledge, he leads a group of transportation professionals as Managing Director in Houston.

Prior to joining Walter P Moore, his previous work experience with public entities, TxDOT Galveston Area Office and PennDOT, gave him perspective for working on public transportation projects in the future. Thusitha has advanced technical training in LRFD design of highway bridges, seismic design of bridges, advanced foundation design, and pre-stressed concrete analysis and design for both public and private clients.

Thusitha received the Fazlur Rahaman Khan Fellowship which is awarded to structural engineers that exhibit pioneering advancements for tall building design in the engineering and architectural fields.
