About the Project
Walter P Moore provided structural engineering services for the new 23-story cast-in-place concrete Hilcorp structure enclosing approximately 800,000 gross square feet of office, retail, shared space, and vehicle parking space to accommodate 800 vehicles on the bottom seven floors. The building includes different functionalities at each story, starting with one basement level designed to re-utilize the existing basement wall system. The first floor contains the main entry lobby, mechanical and service areas, retail space, and a 43-tree plaza. Level nine provides support spaces for building tenants, including commons, multi-use rooms, training, fitness, and locker rooms. It also has an exterior plaza deck and roof garden on the southeast corner. Levels 10 through 22 are typical open office floors with access flooring and underfloor air distribution systems. Level 23 is an office level with a private exterior plaza. Implementation included complete 3D BIM modeling. The facility is pursuing LEED Gold®.
