About the Project

George Bush Intercontinental Airport Terminal C North is Phase 2 of a 3 phase master plan program for the replacement/renovation of IAH Terminal B. The two level facility will have 11 new narrow body equivalent gates. Dual group IV taxi lanes restricted to Boeing 757-200W or smaller aircraft will be provided to either side of the new concourse for aircraft access to the new facility.

Passenger access to the new facility will be through the existing Terminal C North connector, and will be supported by the existing Terminal C ticketing and baggage handling functions operated by United Airlines. The new concourse provides support areas on the lower level for airline ramp operations, and provide passenger hold-room lounges and amenities on the upper level for airline operations. Airside civil work will include the reconstruction of the apron including the storm drainage system, hydrant fueling system, and electrical/telecommunication infrastructure.
