Working on an accelerated timeline, our team delivered early structural designs and collaborated closely with other disciplines to ensure timely completion for the client’s growth in sustainable energy markets.

About the project
As a leader in the aerogel manufacturing market, this confidential client needed a new campus that could increase their productivity to keep up with growing demand for sustainable energy options. The project consists of several buildings on a 90-acre parcel that will support the client’s growth in the electronic vehicles and energy storage markets.
Walter P Moore worked on an accelerated timeline to deliver the project in time to meet the company’s goal of increased productivity. To meet the fast-tracked deadlines, The Walter P Moore team provided early delivery of structural quantities and design through the life of the project. To further support the timeline, the Walter P Moore team worked closely with the architectural and MEP team, providing detailed steel requirements of distributed MEP and process engineering systems to avoid delays on the project. These include pipe racks and pipe bridges, either supported by main building structural system internally, or free standing pipe bridge frames externally between different buildings on the campus.
