Trevor Acorn

From private residences to nationally acclaimed commercial buildings, Trevor is an industry expert in timber and his niche is generating design solutions with architects to find geometries and systems that work aesthetically and structurally.  His passion is to design solutions that are efficient, beautiful, and constructible. 

Trevor is one of the leading structural engineers in Missouri and has worked on many of Kansas City’s premier projects over the past 20 years. His extensive experience with higher education, office buildings, public/civic buildings, and art projects landed him as a senior project manager in the Kansas City office. With a passion to use structural design to enable great architecture, Trevor works with his staff to constantly push the collaborative envelope through an openness for design exploration, the innovative use of technologies to enable optioneering and an eye for refined details.
