Karen is an enclosure consultant with more than 20 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. She collaborates with architects, contractors, and owners to refine building enclosure details during the design and construction phases. Karen specializes in diagnosing water infiltration and other defects, offering tailored recommendations and solutions to remediate issues effectively. 

Experience

Over 20 years of experience in architecture, including the past four years specializing in building science and technology. Karen brings a wealth of expertise to every project. Her design experience includes sports stadiums, military hospitals, senior living communities, hospitals, commercial office buildings, and churches. She also has extensive forensic and litigation experience with water intrusion, construction defects, and ADA/FHA in commercial, multi-family, and single-family residences. Additionally, Karen has significant experience in building enclosure commissioning for commercial and aviation.
