Justin Farr

Principal/Structures

Practice Areas

Justin understands that engineering is first and foremost about problem solving. He appreciates that every project and each client is unique. The excitement of engineering for Justin comes from finding that particular solution that matches the specific design constraints of space, appearance, material, cost, or schedule that are unique to each project and client. The first step in any problem solving process is defining the problem, so Justin also recognizes the value of meeting early for collaboration and coordination to define design constraints that will influence the structural design.

Experience

More than two decades of diversified experience participating in and leading the multidiscipline engineering services for the design of new buildings and structural evaluation and upgrading of existing facilities. Experience includes Sports, hospitals, healthcare research, educational and commercial projects ranging from $1M to $3B of construction cost. Successfully delivered several high-profile projects with accelerated schedules including fast-track design/build projects.
