Justin specializes in large and complex public assembly facilities, including sports facilities, airports, and healthcare projects. His extensive field experience provides him with a unique understanding of the total project cycle and its requirements, complementing his strong technical foundation and natural structural curiosity. 

Passionate about structural engineering and dedicated to creating innovative solutions that satisfy structural, architectural, constructability, and economic requirements, Justin Barton leads the in-house Sports Community of Practice. Leveraging his expertise and love for sports, he ensures the firm delivers premier sports facilities that meet the needs of owners and end-users. In addition to a strong technical base, Justin brings a large amount of field experience to the design team, including one year spent on site during construction of Target Field, which underscores his unique understanding into the total project cycle and needs.
