Javier Balma

Javier is a Senior Project Manager in Diagnostics, which is our service group that focuses on solving issues for existing structures. He performs condition assessments, as well as design and construction administration services for the rehabilitation of structures. He has experience with nondestructive testing methods such as short-pulse radar (also known as GPR), impulse response, ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV), impact echo, and corrosion testing of concrete reinforcing steel. Javier is a NACE-certified Cathodic Protection Technologist. He has also performed extensive research in the area of corrosive materials protection systems and testing methods.
