Dan is a structural engineer and Associate in the Special Structures Group of Walter P Moore’s New York City office. Having started out as a sculptor, he continued into structural engineering where he has developed special expertise in materials and geometry and the development of computational tools to perform engineering analysis on complex and non-standard building geometries. He frequently engages with academic teaching and research, publishes scientific articles, and gives Master Classes on computational engineering.
