Overview
Each year, marketers and business developers in Houston’s built environment come together for an evening of celebration to honor the most creative and effective marketing materials. These awards recognize companies that most successfully promote their services in the Houston region. The 2017 SMPS Houston Design Awards competition recognizes marketing excellence and celebrates winners in eight categories: website, social media, email campaign, mixed media, special event materials, corporate identity, firm brochure, and target marketing. Entries are judged on aesthetic appeal, effective communication, overall design studio, and results.
All finalists were showcased at the 2017 SMPS Houston Design Awards Gala on Friday, October 20, 2017. The outstanding winner in each category was recognized for their exemplary work and three entries among all submissions were awarded Best in Show, Most Liked, and Peers’ Choice. We were honored to have earned two of those three top awards this year — Best in Show and Peers’ Choice — a milestone achievement for our Marketing team!

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is a group of marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms.
