International engineering firm Walter P Moore announces the promotion of Noah Burwell, MSFE to Managing Director of Enclosure Engineering for the firm’s New York office.
The enclosure engineering team provides a comprehensive suite of services to support the creation, design, detailing, performance, installation, maintenance, and renewal of high-performance building enclosure systems. The team is primarily responsible for building facades, roofing systems, and subsystems, each of which influences aesthetics and life cycle performance.
“Noah has played a key role in the management of the New York team and staff mentorship since he joined us in 2017,” says Erik Verboon, Director of Walter P Moore’s Enclosure Engineering practice. “His ability to do so while also managing some of our largest and most complex projects has been instrumental to the strength of our team. I am beyond excited for Noah to step into this role, working with myself and other leaders on our team’s future growth and success.”
Burwell has worked on complex building enclosure projects with many world-renowned architects in the U.S. and throughout East Asia. His expertise encompasses a wide range of project types of varying scale and complexity, including airports, museums, and mixed-use developments over his 20-year career.
