Pinnacle — the new, expansive training center for Sporting Kansas City (KC) in Kansas City, Kansas — officially opened February 6, 2018 when Sporting KC trained at the world-class venue for the first time. Walter P Moore served as the structural engineer on the project.
Designed by Kansas City-based sports architecture giant Populous, Pinnacle is an 81,100-square-foot, two-story soccer training center and sports medicine facility that occupies 50 acres at the southeast corner of 98th Street and Parallel Parkway within the fast-developing Village East area. It is home to U.S. Soccer Federation’s National Coaching Education Center and also will be a training center for Sporting KC. MOORE...
