In the March/April 2017 issue of Concrete Repair Bulletin, Jeff Kobes and Jacob Bice discuss the salvage and re-installation of historic materials on the 499 West Sheridan project in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

“Taking a building that is distressed and not functioning well and returning it to a functioning part of the building stock is challenging, rewarding, and sustainable. However, there are situations where existing buildings cannot be restored due to a variety of reasons, including advanced deterioration, cost of renovation, and the existing building’s incompatibility with the required program.”
