Overview
Walter P Moore’s Chief Hydrologist, Andy Yung, compiled the following list of resources to aid in the tracking of flooding events as they occur in real-time.

HCFCD Flood Watch System (FWS) – includes rain and stream gage data for Harris County and surrounding area (pull-down “Sites by Agency” to get all available gages in the metro area; be aware that some agencies do not maintain their gages to the same standards that HCFCD does and data should be considered provisional).

Texas Medical Center (TMC) – Rice Flood Alert System (FAS-5) - Focus on Brays Bayou watershed. Includes real-time GARR viewer from Vieux & Associates, Brays Bayou @ Main St. rain and stream gauge levels, and live camera view at Harris Gully outfall on Brays Bayou

North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) OneRain Flood Data – provides real-time rain gauge totals, stream gauge levels, and radar for all participating North Texas partners.

Texas Flood – TWDB managed site for the entire State of Texas which includes real-time radar and rain gage information, flood projections from the NWS, and current lake levels across the state (among other data).
