Global engineering firm, Walter P Moore, recently announced three senior leadership promotions within their Structural Engineering Group, advancing multiple markets and expanding experitse.
Senior Principal Karim Zulfiqar, PE, LEED has assumed the managing directorship for Houston’s Structural Engineering Group.
“Karim has spent his career dedicated to the successful delivery of large-scale healthcare, higher education, and commercial projects in Houston and around the country. His strong technical skills combined with his incredible client service have endeared him to owner, architect, and contractor clients. I’m excited for him to take on this leadership role, in which he’ll be supported by a deep team of talent,” says Blair Hanuschak, Managing Principal and Executive Director of Walter P Moore’s Structures Group.
In an effort to continue Walter P Moore’s long history of successfully executing design-build projects, the firm has promoted Scott Martin, PE, LEED AP as the Design-Build Market Leader.
“The design-build market has grown tremendously and is expected to account for nearly half of all construction spending by 2025. With Walter P Moore’s expertise and integrated delivery, we can bring value to contractors and design-build projects in the future, and by promoting Scott to this level of leadership, we are prioritizing our position in the design-build market. Scott has a proven track record of building extraordinary client relationships and uses innovative and collaborative methods to compress schedules and improve bid reliability. He’s an excellent choice for this role and we are excited for him to lead this team,” says Dilip Choudhuri, President and CEO of Walter P Moore.
Ryan Seckinger, PE, LEED AP was promoted to Regional Director Northeast, leading structural engineering operations and client development in the company’s service region which includes Washington, D.C., New York, and Toronto.
“Ryan has built a dynamic and highly collaborative team that has tackled some of the firm’s most challenging, multi-discipline projects. His leadership in New York and Washington D.C. has helped us serve a growing number of clients and projects in the region,” says Hanuschak.
