Our team announces the expansion of its Structures Group by adding structural engineering services in Chicago. Leading the new offering in Chicago is Brian McElhatten, bringing an impressive 25-year career in the city. He spearheaded many successful projects in the United States and abroad during this time.
With a diverse background spanning aviation, sports, healthcare, government, higher education, and commercial projects, McElhatten’s extensive experience enables Walter P Moore to offer comprehensive structural engineering solutions in Chicago’s thriving market, along with integrated enclosure engineering, construction engineering, parking consulting, and secure design services.
McElhatten is also active in the community as the current Chair and co-founder of the Chicago Chapter of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. “We are thrilled to have Brian’s technical expertise and leadership capabilities to lead our team as we establish a strong presence and forge valuable partnerships in the region,” said Blair Hanuschak, Managing Principal and Executive Director of Walter P Moore’s Structures Group.
