Our expertise
Our team expands beyond traditional structural engineering through the use of four key processes described below. Working together this approach provides greater design control, increased cost certainty, reduced risk, expedited schedules, more competitive pricing, and improved outcomes for all project stakeholders.
Our difference
Our proven process creates clear and timely data for decision making and produces industry-changing, advanced model-based deliverables that create a more reliable cost, a more reliable schedule, and a more constructible design. In solving design and construction challenges virtually before work is put in place in the field, ConnecTID® ensures complex projects are delivered successfully.

Integrated Digital Platform
We’ve created the digital language to allow our different practice areas to work together seamlessly. With software-agnostic capabilities and proprietary workflows, we bridge between design, coordination, documentation, and analysis platforms with no compromise in accuracy or information.
Cross-Discipline Solution Finding
The key to minimizing construction risks is to understand how the entire building will be put together during the design phase. While this seems intuitive, building constructability and design of certain systems are often not determined until the construction phase.
Visual Control and Communication
We understand the risks around fast-track structure delivery and we have the leadership and tools to visually and effectively communicate these risks and the decisions that need to be made to the entire team. Communicating frequently with transparency is the most effective way to get the entire team aligned on project goals, risks, and challenges.
Quantity Tracking
High-fidelity modeling allows us to understand and track the material quantities in our structure and enclosure models as the project develops. By communicating this to the builder, owner, and estimators throughout the design process, the design team owns this message and the end product. The construction team can put more focus on what they do best building it.
Advanced Model Based Delivery
Walter P Moore begins each project with LOD200 models for the Structure and Enclosure to define and get alignment with the entire project team on the building we intend to build together. As design progresses and our models are further developed to an LOD300 level (and to LOD 350 or 400 in some cases), facilitating coordination of highly congested, complex, or architecturally important areas.
Speed to Delivery
Delivering fabrication models directly to the build team allows for compression of the project schedule. A third-party detailer doesn’t need to generate a fabrication model from scratch, and often the LOD400 model preparation can begin before 100% Permit Drawings are complete. On a fast-track project, this can shave months off the construction schedule.
