As a civil engineering intern with our organization, you will work as a member of project teams responsible for designing a range of civil/land or site development projects, such as large and small-scale commercial and institutional developments.
Project Accountant

We have an immediate opening for a motivated individual who can effectively support project accounting needs for various groups within the company. In this Houston-based position, the Project Accountant will have the following responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurate project set up according to the terms of the executed contract
- Process monthly billing
- Responsible for reviewing weekly timesheets and expense reports
- Responsible for vouchering vendor invoices
- Works directly with Project Managers to monitor and analyze project financial management through the life cycle of projects
- Responsible for maintaining accounts receivable including coordinating with project managers, clients, and the AR Manager to ensure timely payments
- Maintain electronic project files
- Participates in annual peer review audit of project files

- Performing structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel or other miscellaneous structures
- Creating analysis models and interpreting results for 2D and 3D structural frames
- Assisting with construction administrative tasks, including site visits and shop drawing review
- Understanding load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculating applicable loads based on appropriate building codes
