Walter P Moore has an immediate opening for a full-time or part-time Human Resources Intern to join our Human Resources team in our Downtown Houston office. In this position, you will learn about the different aspects of the employee life cycle and work on special projects.

In this position the qualified individual will work with a team of engineers to provide engineering services on diagnostics related projects, including forensics, restoration, renovation and rehabilitation of commercial structures and complexes such as arenas, stadiums, convention centers, office and industrial facilities, condominiums, hospital complexes, and parking garages. Sound technical background and excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

The Design Leader will play a key role in increasing the presence of Walter P Moore’s Enclosure Engineering Practice on the West Coast with a priority on winning work both regionally and nationally. The candidate must have a technical background and experience delivering enclosure engineering services with their own network of architects and owners.

Qualified candidates will serve as the primary desktop support analyst for issues in the Mexico City office as well as issues in other offices as necessary, keeping our staff’s computer systems running properly on an ongoing basis. They will also be called on to communicate and interact with local vendors regarding various facets of IT including hardware acquisition and network circuits.
