Business Information Architect

As a Business Information Architect, you will manage our corporate intranet (and related data) which we are currently re-branding as our internal Knowledge Management Platform. The role can report to any of our 20 US offices. We are responding to the current working situation as a hybrid company anticipating a portion of our workforce will remain remote after the pandemic work from home orders lift. Communication with our C-Suite in our Houston office will be frequent. This role will require you to put yourself in the position of the end user – your fellow Walter P Moore teammates, to develop solutions on how best to organize, present, and archive data for optimal efficiency and ease of use. You will largely be responsible for working in conjunction with the Intranet Governance Committee and the IT group to make our intranet the “go to” resource for information and collaboration.
Graduate Enclosure Consultant - Diagnostics

In this position the qualified individual will investigate and determine the service life of building enclosure assemblies. The qualified individual will assess enclosure systems, and design repairs for existing enclosure systems. They will perform enclosure review to assess air infiltration, rain water control, heat transfer, and vapor transmission. They will perform building performance analysis including evaluate daylighting, solar heat gain, thermal energy transfer, and holistic integration of the enclosure with building mechanical, lighting, and plumbing systems.A sound technical background and excellent oral and written communication skills are required. A technical background in CADD and building performance modeling software is preferred. You'll develop a strong background in building façade and roofing assemblies, understanding of building science and thermal analysis concepts as well as a knowledge of modeling building performance and sustainability.Job Responsibilities will include:

- Research building codes and industry standards
- Write assessment reports
- Perform field investigations, including non-destructive testing, travel required

- Manage a group of engineers in the pursuit of water resources, drainage, hydrology and hydraulics design related projects and the related clients;
- Proficient understanding and knowledge of frequently used software such as HEC programs, XP-SWMM, MOUSE, etc. and how the use of each addresses water resources issues.

- Performing structural computations in the design and analysis of concrete, steel or other miscellaneous structures
