Engineering Intern - Public Works

Responsibilities

The functions performed by engineering interns will vary, but may include the following:

  • Develops, prepares engineering plans and designs for roadways
  • Develops, prepares and reviews reports and studies to identify engineering solutions
  • Performs various engineering tasks in the overall roadway project life cycle
  • Address comments, markups on various roadway submittal sheets
  • Develop various CAD drawings in MicroStation, Open Roads, AutoCAD, Civil 3D
  • The intern will get to learn roadway design & its various aspects of design and delivery for U.S projects
  • He/she will be trained on various high-end software’s for designing and production.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have completed Bachelors in civil engineering. Specialized in transportation/highways will be preferred.
  • Must have good academic records throughout the course.
  • Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills
