Engineer - Civil

Responsibilities
This individual will be a member of our Kansas City Civil Engineering team. Primary responsibilities will be serving as design engineer and working with a group of engineers and CAD Technicians on a variety of site and land development projects. Project elements include layout, grading, stormwater drainage systems, water distribution, sanitary collection, stormwater detention, stormwater treatment, public roadways, etc.
Other responsibilities, depending on level of experience, may include project management and business development related activities and assignments concentrated in a specific target area and project client interface. Great client service and technical capability is a must. Proactivity and initiative to meet client/end-user needs are pluses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (MS a plus)
- PE in Missouri or Kansas, or ability to be registered in Missouri/Kansas within 12 months of hire date
- 4+ years relevant experience
- Sound technical design background
- Excellent communication, verbal and written, and organizational skills
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of U.S. design codes and standards
- Related local experience preferred
