Design Engineer I - Civil

Responsibilities

We have an immediate opening for the right individual to join our Civil Engineering Services Group in our Pune, India office in the role of Design Engineer I.  In this position, the Design Engineer I will work with a team of engineers and technicians on the design and production of various civil engineering projects, including the following responsibilities:

  • Perform cost estimates and/or miscellaneous data research.
  • Prepare the CAD drawings, layouts, and other engineering Computer Aided Drafting tasks.
  • Assist in developing civil engineering site plans and reports utilizing civil engineering design skills and understanding.
  • Assist in collecting project related data and research utility records in support of project investigations and production efforts.
  • Assist in the design and production of technical projects, and assist in miscellaneous organizational work.
  • Technical specialization and proactive teamwork are pluses.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering required (ME/MTech/MS Civil a plus).
  • Minimum two years of education and/or experience in civil design projects 
  • Good working knowledge of the current versions of Civil-3D & AutoCAD is a must. Microstation, GeoPak&softwares is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of American codes, standards, and procedures a plus.
