September 5, 2018

Urban Land Institue (ULI) Austin recently unveiled their 2018 Impact Awards winners* during a ceremony at ZACH Theatre. The annual awards honor projects that promote the responsible land use and sustainable communities.

“The annual Impact Awards shine a light on the exceptional ULI Austin members and development projects that are shaping the future of responsible land use across Central Texas, and we are pleased to acknowledge the achievements of so many qualified real estate industry professionals,” said Paulette Gibbins, Executive Director of ULI Austin. “Given the extensive number of nominees for the individual awards and diverse applicants for the project awards we received, it is safe to say ULI’s mission of creating and sustaining thriving communities is in good hands.”

Walter P Moore, members of the design-build teams for two project honorees — Oracle Waterfront Campus and Republic Square Park — are proud of their continued contributions to enhancing the fabric of the community.

Most Influential Project | Oracle Waterfront Campus

The Oracle Waterfront Campus is the first of its kind in Austin’s Southeast Waterfront, with five floors of office space and a standalone parking garage.

Best Public Place | Reuplic Square Park

Republic Square Park, one of three historical squares in Downtown Austin, now boasts 1,000 square feet of vendor space to serve park visitors.

Walter P Moore provided structural engineering services for both projects, and parking consulting services for the Oracle campus.
