Sara is a structural engineer in the New York Diagnostics group with extensive experience in exterior wall repair and restoration. She is involved with numerous historic façade restorations and exterior wall assessments, building enclosure analysis, parking garages, roofing and waterproofing, structural steel and concrete repair design, stone and brick masonry repairs, and fall protection/façade access system design and inspections. Sara has also performed numerous Local Law 11 (NYC DOB FISP) façade inspections per local code ordinances in the City of New York. She is a licensed Professional Engineer registered in New York, Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia and serves on the Program Planning Committee of SWR Institute.

If you had to choose a different career, what would it be?
A chef.
What three words best describe you?
Honest, optimistic, perfectionist.
What gives you the most satisfaction in your work?
Historic restoration projects that preserve the beauty of structures of the past and adapt to the technologies of the future.
Who or what inspires you?
My mother will forever inspire me with her positive outlook and friendly spirit. She was a genuinely happy and dynamic person who always encouraged me to reach for my dreams.
