Pawan is Managing Director in Walter P Moore Diagnostics Group in Los Angeles.  He has more than 20 years of experience in the design, construction, evaluation, and rehabilitation of concrete structures. Pawan also designs and rehabilitates steel, post-tensioned, reinforced brick masonry, and wood structures. His expertise includes the retrofit and rehabilitation of unbonded post-tensioned structures, as well as the development of a simple device to nondestructively measure the pre-stressing force in tendons in post-tensioned structures. The technique has been patented in the United States and Canada, and has successfully been used in the resolution of construction defect litigation cases. Pawan is active in various committees in the American Concrete Institute, and was elected as a Fellow in 2007. He is a licensed professional engineer in California and six other states. Pawan earned a Doctorate and Master in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.

Never give up! No matter how bad it looks, just keep plodding! Things will get better!
If you had to choose a different career, what would it be?
I can’t think of anything else I would want to do! I have too much fun building and fixing things.
