Joe Fong, AIA, NCARB, BPAC, LEED AP BD+C
Having worked in the AEC industry since 1992, Joe has experience in the architectural profession from design and planning through construction on a variety of project types including higher education, institutional, aviation and commercial projects. As a Senior Associate and a Building Envelope Consultant in the Diagnostics Group, Joe specializes in sustainable design practices, simulation modeling, and building envelope design analysis.
He is also an active presenter on various accredited topics at the AIA, Texas Architect Convention, and other technical conferences. His passion is to enhance the architectural design concept with the performance analysis for the sustainability of the building. In addition, Mr. Fong is a Vice-Chairman of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA), a former Chairman of the Building Enclosure Council (BEC) in Houston, and an adjunct professor at UH architectural department.
