Edwin Friedrichs, PE, PTP
With experience in government regulations, master planning, transportation planning, site development, and civil, traffic and transportation engineering, Edwin leads the firm’s Infrastructure Group. He has worked on numerous civic projects developing local government public policy relating to engineering and development regulations.
Edwin has more than 35 years of engineering and public service involvement at the local, state and national level. He supports the community through broad service to non-profit, community-based and professional organizations including American Council of Engineering Companies, National Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and Urban Land Institute. He has been recognized as an industry leader receiving numerous awards including the Houston Area Engineer of the Year in 2009 and the ASCE Service to People Award, and was recognized as a Distinguished Graduate of the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering of Texas A&M University in 2011. Edwin has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed professional engineer in Texas as well as a professional transportation planner.
