Since joining the firm in 1980, Dave has amassed a substantial list of mid to large-scale complex structures in all building types including aviation, education, parking garages, healthcare, hotels, performing arts, and sport facilities. He leads the Dallas/Fort Worth office structural group which has received numerous project awards for design excellence. Most recently, Dave served as the Principal in Charge for the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium and the Palazzo Casino Resort in Las Vegas. He has held a variety of leadership positions with the Structural Engineers Association of Texas and maintains membership in the American Concrete Institute and American Institute of Steel Construction. His background includes a Master’s degree in structural engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati. With his multiple professional engineering licenses, Dave is able to oversee projects in Texas as well as in eleven other states.

Seeing staff members I’ve hired accomplish great things.
